Delhi Environment Minister appeals to Union Minister to reduce pollution
Pollution is not decreasing in the capital, Delhi, and the AQI is in very poor condition.
Delhi Pollution Update (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi: The pollution problem in the capital Delhi is continuously increasing. The AQI here has been hovering around 400 for the past few days. Due to this, the air quality is not good even for breathing. The effect of this is clearly visible on the health of Delhiites. An increase in the number of patients with coughs and allergies is observed in hospitals. On the other hand, the Meteorological Service has also made it clear that there is no possibility of pollution reducing in the coming days.

On the other hand, the Delhi government is making every effort to tackle pollution, but the result is almost nil. Gopal Rai also urged Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav to allow artificial rainfall to improve air quality in Delhi. He said I want to request the Union Environment Minister to take time to meet the officials and allow artificial rain in Delhi.

Necessary measures are being taken to stop pollution
Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said necessary steps have been taken to stop the pollution. Additionally, the Central Government has also been asked to provide artificial rain. People breathed poisonous air in Delhi on Tuesday. The air quality (AQI) reached close to the severe category in some areas. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI was 384 at 9 am on Tuesday.
Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that to reduce pollution, residents of the capital will be made aware starting Wednesday to stop burning garbage in the open. As winter approaches, fire burning incidents will increase even more, which is worrying. Gopal Rai on Tuesday said 588 teams of the Delhi Municipal Corporation and other civic agencies will report incidents of garbage burning in Delhi.

The situation worsened after Diwali
Air pollution in the capital Delhi has been increasing continuously for the past 20 days. The worst situation started after Diwali. People ignored the government’s call and set off many fireworks, ignoring the rules. Due to this, the AQI is continuously reaching around 400 since Diwali. However, in light of this, the Supreme Court has also made strict comments.
