The risk of accident increases due to reduced visibility. Along with this, there are also signs of increasing cold weather in Delhi. It is snowing in the northern states and strong winds are blowing in Noida on Sunday night. It is clear from this that there will be bitter cold in Delhi NCR in the coming days.
Apart from Delhi, warning has also been issued for Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. The Meteorological Department wrote in for 24 hours.”
Delhi is the second most polluted city in the country
Delhi’s air quality worsened on Sunday and the air quality index (AQI) stood at 441, making Delhi the second most polluted city in the country. The AQI of the national capital was recorded at 4:00 p.m. at 441, which corresponds to the “serious” category. The AQI was 417 on Saturday. The AQI in four cities in the country has been recorded in the “severe” category. According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Bahadurgarh in Haryana had the highest AQI of 445, followed by 441 in Delhi, 415 in Haryana’s Bhiwani and 404 in Rajasthan’s Bikaner. According to data shared by CPCB, out of 40 monitoring stations in Delhi, 32 recorded air quality in the ‘severe category’ with AQI levels above 400.
