DIAL gave advice to passengers

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has said low visibility procedures are in place but assured passengers that all flight operations are currently normal. However, passengers are advised to contact their airlines for updated flight information. According to Economic Times news, 7 flights were canceled at Delhi airport on Monday morning as visibility was reduced due to dense fog.

Airlines are on alert

Airlines have issued notices to their passengers about flight delays due to dense fog. Indigo Airlines issued an advisory acknowledging the impact of fog on travel. The airline said in a post on Twitter: “Fog is currently affecting visibility in Delhi, which may lead to a slowdown in traffic and delays in flight schedules.” We recommend checking additional travel times and flight status before beginning your trip. Similarly, SpiceJet has also issued a similar advisory. He said in a post on X: Due to poor visibility in Delhi, all departures/arrivals and their resulting flights may be affected. Passengers are asked to continue checking the status of their flight.

Pollution is very high in Delhi.
