Dev Uthani Ekadashi 2024 Puja Shubh Sanyog: Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month is called Devotthan Ekadashi. It is also known as Devuthani Ekadashi. Which has great importance in the Hindu religion. On this day, Lord Vishnu wakes up from Yoga Nidra and from this day marriage, engagement and auspicious activities begin. Mother Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu are worshiped on this day. It is believed that by worshiping according to the rituals of this day, all sins are destroyed and all kinds of problems are resolved. According to the Panchang, the Ekadashi date of the Shukla Paksha of the Kartik month will begin on November 11 at 06:46 pm and will end on November 12 at 04:14 pm. According to Udayatithi, Dev Uthani Ekadashi will be celebrated only on November 12 and the Ekadashi fast will be broken on November 13.

  • On Devuthani Ekadashi, get up early in the morning, take bath, meditate and vow to fast for Lord Vishnu.
  • Cleanse the temple and remember Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth.
  • Bathe the Lord with Panchamrit, apply turmeric or Gopi sandalwood tilak.
  • Offer a garland of yellow flowers, sweets, fruits and basil leaves to Lord Vishnu.
  • Chant Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya or any other mantra of Lord Vishnu, recite Vishnu Sahastranam and chant the aarti.
  • After this, fast for the whole day, feed a poor person or a Brahmin and give him Dakshina.
  • Stay awake at night by singing God bhajans and kirtans.
  • After the morning puja, break your fast during ParanĂ¡ time.
