Narwana site very good for precision paragliding competition: Rohit Aggarwal
Narwana site is very good for precision paragliding competition. The time from landing to takeoff is 15 minutes. We have made a bet for the run-up to next year’s World Cup. Good place for precision paragliding landing. The facilities are being progressively expanded and a new landing site has also been built. Beed-Billing site is ranked well globally, Beed-Billing site is better for cross country, while Narwana site is better for paragliding precision and will improve it: Rohit Aggarwal, event director.
The Narwana site is good but for international events, there is a need to improve it further and add facilities, for which suggestions have been given to Himachal Pradesh Adventure Sports Federation (ASF) and Narwana Adventure Club (Paragliding Association of Narwana). that international events can be held. For this, the corresponding facilities can be available. The World Cup is a class one competition, for which the take-off place, along with the first class place, must be big and the landing place must also be big and clean, we have to work on that. The government is working in this direction and the Aero Club of India is also supporting it. Suggestions were also given to the local association previously and will be given this year as well; the association is making many improvements on this site working according to the suggestions given: Vijay Soni, Paragliding Commissioner, Aero Club of India.
