The report said that Karthik had said that if both the films are released within a span of two weeks, both the films will manage to get a good opening. It is clear from this report that Kartik and the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 wanted to avoid clashing with Singham again.

The kind of opening that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has is considered good in terms of star cast and franchise. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that Rohit’s own film has suffered some loss. Anyway, the budget of Rohit’s film is said to be Rs 350 crore, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was made for just Rs 150 crore.

Singham Again earned around Rs 121 crore at the domestic box office during the first weekend. While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has done a business of Rs 106 crore. If Singham Solo had been released, his earnings would definitely have been higher than the current figures. The Rs 106 crore that has gone into the account of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, it is possible that if it had been released on its own, that would have earned Singham Again as well. Both films have obtained the same results at the foreign box office. The overseas earnings of both films in three days have been Rs 30 crore. Singham Again’s overseas box office figures might also have been different on its solo release.
