An incident has occurred with the father of famous Bollywood actress Disha Patani in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. Disha’s father Jagdish Patni, a retired police officer, has been a victim of fraud. The goons swindled Rs 25 lakh from Jagdish Patni by luring him with a high position in the state government and the post of chairman and vice-chairman of the Commission.

According to retired police officer Jagdish Patni, he knew the accused Shivendra Pratap Singh. He was the one who introduced me to Diwakar Garg and Acharya Jai Prakash of Juna Akhara. These same people lured them with senior officials and asked them for Rs 20 lakh. In which Rs 5 lakh in cash and Rs 20 lakh were given through three different banks. When nothing happened after three months, the accused assured that the work continues. Jagdish Patni further said that when he demanded money, he started receiving threats from the accused.
The police are investigating
When Jagdish Patni, a resident of Chowpala in Civil Lines area of Bareilly district, did not do his job, he began to feel cheated. After which a complaint was filed with the district SSP. Following the SSP’s order, the police registered a case against Shivendra Pratap Singh, Acharya Jai Prakash along with many others and started an investigation. According to the police, the accused are being investigated. They will soon be caught and strict action will be taken.
