Ambala News: Ambala. A district level scientific essay writing competition was organized today at Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantonment. This competition was organized by Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology. The goal of the competition was to increase awareness and interest in science among students. About forty students from six different universities of Ambala district participated in this competition. In the essay contest, students expressed their views on various science-related topics. The medium of competition was kept in English or Hindi so that the students could express their views well.
The principal of the university, Dr. Rajendra Singh, addressed the students and inspired them to promote research and development in the field of science. The written essays were evaluated by the jury members, Dr. Gulab Singh, Shaheed Udham Singh College, Matak Majri, Dr. Rohini Singh Government PG College, Ambala Cantonment, Dr. Poonam Siwach, Arya Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Shahbad. Public relations officer Sanjeev Kumar said the top 10 winners of the contest were honoured. At the end of the programme, Prof. Zeenat Madan proposed the vote of thanks. This entire program was completed under the able guidance of Coordinator Dr. Krishna Kumar, Coordinator Prof. Zeenat Madan and Co-Coordinator Dr. Aarti.
