Case registered against Jai Bhagwan Upkar

The officials asked the shop owner Gul Mohammad to pay a fine of Rs 37,500 at the rate of Rs 2,500 per goat. For this he refused to pay. Instead, he called his people and threatened the MCD team. After this, AAP MLA Jai Bhagwan Upkar, former councilor Shraddhanand and others reached the spot.
BJP demanded action
Delhi politics have heated up over this incident. The BJP unit in Delhi has demanded AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal to take action against the accused. BJP said AAP MLAs are used to taking the law into their own hands. Delhi BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva said, “The FIR registered against AAP MLA Jai Bhagwan and others in the case of assault and battery on MCD officers who were on duty to check the illegal slaughterhouse in Bawana Assembly He has proven it once again.” “It has come to pass that the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs are a bunch of goons accustomed to taking the law into their own hands.
