The BJP and Congress had lodged complaints against their leaders with the Election Commission for violation of code of conduct during the election campaign in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. The ECI has sought formal responses from Bharatiya Janata Party president JP Nadda and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on the complaints lodged by both the parties against each other.

The Commission has asked the BJP and Congress to submit their replies by 1 pm on November 18. The ICE also recalled its earlier notice sent to the BJP and Congress on May 22, 2024 during the Lok Sabha elections, to keep star leaders and activists under control so that public decorum is not violated.

In a letter sent to the Election Commission, the BJP lodged a complaint against Rahul Gandhi’s claim that the saffron party wants to destroy the Constitution. If you want to become a vice-chancellor, subscribe to RSS on science, geography and history. Even if you don’t know anything, it doesn’t matter. You must be RSS only. This is happening not only with one institute, but with all the institutes in the country.

The BJP has also complained to the ECI about Rahul Gandhi’s statement in which he accused the central government of taking investments from Maharashtra to other states and manufacturing Apple iPhones and Boeing planes there. The BJP has claimed in its complaint that Congress leaders are provoking the youth of Maharashtra, which is “extremely dangerous for the unity and integrity of the country”. The BJP wrote in its complaint letter: “As expected, Rahul Gandhi’s speech was full of lies and deceit, the purpose of which was to create discontent, enmity and ill will among the Indian states.”

Falsely accused. The sole purpose of his rhetoric is to incite voters based on their religion and caste and polarize votes in favor of the BJP by inciting communal insecurity.
