The demon Mur also followed them and reached the cave. The demon Mur was about to attack him when a goddess was born from the body of Lord Vishnu. That goddess killed the demon Mur. After this, the gods reached Indra Loka. When Lord Vishnu woke up from his sleep, the goddess narrated the entire incident to him. Pleased with this, Lord Vishnu told the goddess that since you were born on Ekadashi to Margashirsha Krishna Paksha, your name will be Ekadashi.
