Meeting in Chhattisgarh, (Aaj Samaj), Raipur: A fierce clash is underway between security forces and Naxalites in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district. Security forces are said to have clashed with Naxalites in the Maad forest on the Maharashtra border. It is also reported that a large group of Naxalites have been surrounded by security forces and continuous firing is taking place in the area.
Many Naxalites killed, three bodies recovered
According to sources, many Naxalites have been killed so far in the clash that has been going on since morning. Three bodies and weapons were recovered at the scene. Two members of the security forces were injured, who were airlifted and taken to the capital Raipur. Alisela from SP I has given this information.
