Gangster Kuldeep Singh, who was carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, was arrested by the police after an encounter early today in Firozabad, UP. Kuldeep was shot in the leg during the encounter. He has been admitted to the hospital. The police and the surveillance team of Sirsaganj police station participated in this encounter.
Firozabad police recovered a stolen Splendor bike along with an illegal pistol, two live cartridges and one spent cartridge from gangster Kuldeep Singh. It is noteworthy that Kuldeep was absconding for the last 13 years under the Gangster Act. Many cases have been registered against them.
In this case, Additional Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Bhadoria said that this morning there was an encounter with criminal Kuldeep, who had a reward of Rs 50 lakh, in which he was shot in the leg. Currently, he has been taken to the hospital for treatment under police custody. His condition is out of danger. He will now be produced in court and sent to jail.
According to the police, based on the information received from the informant, the inspection was carried out near Surajpur canal. Meanwhile, a bicycle was seen coming. When told to stop, the cyclist turned the vehicle and began to flee. Then he fell to the ground in a hurry. When the police caught up with him, he fired the gun. In self-defense, the police also fired a bullet that hit him in the leg.
He has been identified as Kuldeep, son of Balwant Singh. He is a resident of Katmira police station, Shikohabad, and was absconding for 13 years in a case. His entire criminal horoscope is currently being investigated.
