In Gopalganj, Bihar, some intrepid miscreants shot dead an engineer in public. There was a sensation in the area after the murder. This incident of murder did not occur anywhere else except Saraiya Ward No. 1 near Brichha Baba Mod of the city police station area. The deceased is said to have studied B.Tech (Engineering). After finishing his studies he came home. The name of the deceased was Prakhar Dubey. Prakhar Dubey, 28, was the son of Nityanand Dubey, a resident of Saraiya Ward No. 1 of the city.
He was reportedly strolling along the Shambhu trail in front of his house on Thursday when armed criminals traveling on bicycles openly opened fire on him. The bullet hit his head, causing him to die instantly. There was sensation in the area after the shooting. Hearing the sound of the bullet, people started running from here to there. Later, with the help of local people, the deceased was shifted to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital, where the autopsy was conducted.
The deceased’s maternal uncle gave information
The deceased’s maternal uncle Mithilesh Kumar Gautam said Prakhar Dubey had studied B.Tech in Bhopal. After completing his B.Tech studies, he came home. I wasn’t working anywhere at the moment. On Thursday, he was walking outside his home on Bhitbhairava Road when he was shot. Uncle Mithilesh Kumar Gautam did not say anything about the reason for the shooting.

Meanwhile, Gopalganj Sadar SDPO Pranjal said that based on the statement of the family members, an FIR has been registered against the criminals and an investigation has been launched. He said family members have shared some angles about the murder with police. Police are investigating the murder from all angles. However, the SDPO has not revealed the motive for the murder. SDPO said the miscreants will soon be identified and arrested.
