India TV Special Conversation with Deputy CM Ajit Pawar
Assembly elections in Maharashtra will be held on November 20. The election results will be announced on November 23. There are two factions competing in the elections in Maharashtra. Mahavikas Aghadi and Mahayuti. Congress, NCPSP and Shiv Sena are UBTs in Mahavikas Aghadi. On the other hand, BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP are in Mahayuti. Meanwhile, India TV had a special conversation with Maharashtra Deputy CM and NCP chief Ajit Pawar. During this, Ajit Pawar claimed that a grand alliance government will be formed in Maharashtra and fiercely attacked the opposition parties. Responding to questions, Ajit Pawar said that North politics is different and South politics is different. But Maharashtra politics is completely different. Since 1985, no party has reached Maharashtra with an absolute majority and it will not do so this time either. This is the way of Maharashtra.
Single-party government cannot be formed in Maharashtra
He further said that to form a government in Maharashtra, one must take help from one or the other. Regarding giving the ticket to Nawab Malik, he said that my ideology is different. All together and the board of directors of Parliament have distributed the tickets. We present a common minimum program. The government of any party is not going to come or present itself. For the first two and a half years we worked with Uddhav Thackeray. Regarding Uddhav Thackeray’s views, he said that Uddhav Thackeray has committed himself. Regarding the opposition, he said that the opposition has decided to create a false narrative based on the government’s 400 passes slogan so that it can change the Constitution, stop reservations and declare the country a Hindu nation. This false narrative was spread by the opposition. All this will never happen in the country.
What did Ajit Pawar say at the Waqf Board?
Speaking at Waqf, Ajit Pawar said that this law will be passed only if NDA’s Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar support them. This bill has passed to the Joint Select Committee. Let them study once. Many times we don’t know exactly what is in it. We will also ensure that no injustice is done to anyone. If the people of the country and the minority find it good, they will support it. Ajit Pawar said many BJP leaders have different opinions on the ‘Katenge and Batenge’ slogan. Earlier there was a motto: Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. The country is one, we are all Indians, that is why we are safe. He said in Vote Jihad that we will have to think about it a little because the elections are on the 20th.
