There was an uproar when it was discovered that a private hospital in Faridabad, Haryana, had been blown up. Now the police have arrested the accused who made the threat from Patna, the capital of Bihar. The accused had threatened to blow up a private hospital in Faridabad four days ago.

According to Faridabad police, the accused has been identified as Ankit Paswan. He is a resident of Patna, Bihar. During interrogation, Ankit Paswan revealed that he had threatened the hospital for two reasons. Firstly, he wanted to impress his fiancée, and secondly, he was angry about the death of his fiancée’s mother.

Faridabad ACP (Crime) Aman Yadav told PTI that a private hospital located in Sector 8 of the city had received a threat to blow it up. Following this, on receiving instructions from the authorities, Anil Kumar, in-charge of Sector 30 Crime Branch, Jagvinder, in-charge of Sector 65, and Narendra, in-charge of Uncha village, jointly launched an operation and arrested to accused Ankit Paswan of Patna in Bihar.

ACP Aman Yadav said that the mother of the woman to whom accused Ankit was going to get engaged was admitted in the hospital for some time. This means that the mother of the defendant’s fiancé was being treated at the same hospital. But he died during treatment in hospital the next day. Angered by this, the accused threatened the hospital to impress his fiancée.

ACP Aman Yadav further said that the accused goes for coaching classes to get a job and also provides coaching to 10th class children. He said that by remanding him, the mobile phone and SIM card used in this incident will be recovered. The police are currently questioning the accused.
