A screenshot of the post ‘If you divide, you will be cut like Kashmir’ is viral on social media in the name of Yogi Adityanath, and during investigation it was found to be fake.
During the investigation, we noticed that the date November 12, 2024 is written on the viral X-post. We checked Yogi Adityanath’s we found no such publication there.
Apart from this, in the viral screenshot made with picaso.me It has a watermark of , possibly having been edited from this website.
We also search for media reports with relevant keywords. It was said in many media reports that during the Haryana Assembly elections, Yogi’s statement “If you divide, you will be cut” was widely discussed, although he did not mention Kashmir. Apart from the UP by-elections, his statement will also be heard in the Haryana, Jharkhand and Maharashtra assembly elections.
