Bijnor: A tragic accident took place in Dhampur area of the district on Saturday morning. Here, seven people died in a road accident due to dense fog, while two people were injured. This accident is said to have occurred on the Dehradun-Nainital national highway in Dhampur. In this case, a speeding car hit the car hard from behind. Seven people died in the accident, including the driver of the vehicle. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. The police are currently investigating the matter.
The relatives were returning home after the wedding.
According to the information received, all the people traveling in the car were returning to their village Tibri after getting married in Jharkhand. Among the deceased were Khurshid (65), his son Vishal (25), daughter-in-law Khushi (22), Mumtaz (45), Ruby (32) and Bushra (10). In addition, a car driver also died. Six people from the same family were coming to their village, Dhampur Tibri, from Jharkhand after Vishal’s marriage, when this tragic accident occurred. All these people got off the train at Moradabad, booked a car and headed to their village.
Crete collides with car
A Cretan car hit the car from behind near the fire station at Dhampur Nagina Marg. Due to this collision, the 6 people from the same family who were traveling in the car died. The driver of the vehicle also died while being transported to the hospital. Sherkot residents Sohail Alvi and Aman, who were traveling on the Creta injured in the accident, were also admitted to the hospital.
