Faridabad News (Aaj Samaj) Faridabad: In Faridabad, a case of beating of a young man accused of kidnapping a girl has come to light. They tied him to an electric pole and beat him. People have accused the young man of kidnapping a girl. The police arrived with information and rescued the youth and took him to the police station. The incident took place in Hari Vihar of Ballabhgarh, Faridabad. The young man is said to be a drug addict. The victim girl said that she had gone to play in the park with her sister. When he started to return after playing, he returned home along different paths in the park. During this time a young man came to see me.
He asked me to accompany him. The young man also gave me a candy to eat. When the young man began to take her hand, the girl screamed and told her father. Hearing the girl’s screams, a crowd of people gathered at the scene. When they found the drunk young man, they began to beat him. He was saying his name as Sonu. When they questioned him closely for some time, he said his name was Altaf. After this the people tied him to an electric pole. The people gathered at the scene brought sticks and began to beat the tied young man with sticks. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and arrested the accused.
Case registered against the accused
SHO Harikishan of Adarsh Nagar Police Station has said that the accused youth lives in Ashiana Flats located in Sector-62. His name is Altaf. The accused is a drug addict. A case has been registered against the accused under sections of kidnapping and POCSO Act.
