DC gave instructions for increased pollution
Faridabad News (Aaj Samaj) Faridabad: Even today, all public and private schools in the district will not open until grade 12. DC has given these instructions due to increased air pollution. It has also instructed school operators to teach children online up to Grade 12 at home. It is noteworthy that due to rising air pollution in Delhi-NCR, the Haryana government had left the decision to close schools to the district deputy commissioners.
After which Faridabad DC Vikram Singh ordered closure of all government and private schools up to class 12 by November 23. After November 24 was a holiday due to Sunday, DC has now given instructions that schools will also remain closed on November 25. Because the condition of the environment has not yet improved.
Air quality index in severe category
The order issued by the DC said that the air quality index level in all urban and rural areas of Faridabad is still in the severe category. Therefore, in the interest of the health and safety of children, it has been decided that, in accordance with this Office Order No. 6848 of November 18, 2024, for all students up to grade 12 in all areas (urban and rural) of Faridabad District Physical classes will remain closed till November 25, 2024.
