(Fatehabad News) Fatehabad. With an aim to increase awareness among students, members of Juvenile Justice Board (JJ) and Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights organized a conference on the topic Child Rights and Traffic Control in the DAV Police Public School, Police Lines. The objective of the program was to make students aware of their rights and duties as well as encourage them to adopt safe behavior on the road. This program was an important step towards creating a supportive environment for children and instilling in them a sense of social responsibility and self-protection.

School principal Arun Sharma welcomed the guests. During the JJ conference representatives of the board highlighted the importance of understanding children’s rights, including the right to education, health and protection from abuse. He made students aware of their rights and motivated them to report any incidents of harassment or exploitation. Various safety measures to ensure the safety and well-being of children were also discussed in this session. In addition to children’s rights, HSCPCR members also focused on road safety, an important issue in current times.

He shared information about the importance of following traffic rules, safe practices for pedestrians, and rules to prevent accidents. Through interactive activities, students were encouraged to adopt safe habits as pedestrians and future drivers. Director Arun Sharma thanked the guests for this briefing and said that these awareness programs help the youth to become responsible citizens.

Teachers and students participated actively, asking questions and sharing their points of view, which revealed their great interest in both topics. The conference concluded with JJ It was accompanied by messages from representatives of the Board and the HSCPCR, in which they urged the students to carry out the lessons taught and ensure their rights and safety.
