Palghar: BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawde and BJP candidate Rajan Naik have been accused of distributing money among voters. The Election Commission has lodged two FIRs in the Poll Note case. According to media reports, Election Commission officials have lodged an FIR against Tawde and BJP candidate Rajan Naik under the Representation of People Act.

Nalasopara Assembly election officer Shekhar Ghadge said we had received a complaint that a meeting of a political party was being held here. When our team arrived here we saw that a meeting was taking place. A quantity of cash has been seized here. The police have registered the case. The search for two cases is ongoing. This will have no impact on the elections.
