The reality is that the people of Jammu and Kashmir do not accept the decision taken on August 5, 2019. If they had accepted this, today’s results would have been different. No member will decide how the House will consider this.

Article 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir in 2019
On August 5, 2019, the central government repealed almost all the provisions of Article 370, which granted special privileges to the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. With the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the special status and statehood of Jammu and Kashmir also ended. With this, Jammu and Kashmir was divided into two union territories.
