VaranasiPolice have found many important clues in the murder case of five people from the Gupta family that took place in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. On Thursday, after the autopsy of the five bodies, the last rites were performed in the presence of the police. Nephew Jugnu, who was detained by police at Harishchandra Ghat in Varanasi, cremated Navendra’s bodies along with his elder father Rajendra Gupta, elder mother Neetu, first cousin Gaurangi and cousins Surendra. After the funeral, the police kept his nephew Jugnu in custody, while Rajendra Gupta’s mother Sharda was also present at Harishchandra Ghat during the funeral and kept watching the burning pyre of her family members with moist eyes.

As soon as the bodies of the father, wife and three children reached Harichandra Ghat in Varanasi, a gathering of people began at the cremation ground. While everyone was shocked to see the pyre burning of all the family members together, the members of the Dom family, who have been cremating corpses at the cremation ground for generations, were also left speechless. Dom family members Sunil Chaudhary and Raja Chaudhary said that for the first time after killing five members of the same family, the bodies are being cremated together. This scene is very emotional. Suspects being sought in 6 states, search for Vicky intensified after Sharda Devi’s statement: DCP
Regarding the massacre in Varanasi, DCP Gaurav Banswal of Kashi zone said that in the case of death of 5 people in Varanasi, autopsy of the dead bodies was carried out and last rites were performed. Several teams have been formed to uncover this matter. Prima facie, Rajendra Gupta’s mother Sharda Devi has blamed Vicky (Rajendra’s nephew) for the murder. According to his statement, the search for the murderer Vicky has intensified. DCP Gaurav Banswal said that wherever the location of the suspects was, the team has gone to around 6 states to investigate. He said that in this case a total of 10 teams have been formed, of which 6 teams have been deployed to search for the suspects and accused and 4 teams have been deployed for investigation. There is talk of being the perpetrator of the shots in this case, but the accused Vicky is currently being sought. DCP said that in the first investigation it came to light that Rajendra was first murdered in Rohaniya police station area and then the family members were murdered in Bhadaini.
