According to sources, an artist had gifted this statue to the governor. The name of the artist is Partha Saha and he has made this fiber statue.

When the Governor unveiled his own statue, critics said it was wrong to install his own statue in the Governor’s House while he was in office. The governor’s office has clarified that the statue was not installed by Governor CV Anand Bose himself, but was a gift from the artist and the Indian Museum.
