Congress leader Rahul Gandhi
The cash scandal has started just a day before the assembly elections in Maharashtra. BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawde has been accused of distributing money at a hotel in Nalasopara. Bahujan Vikas Aghadi leaders have claimed that Rs 9 lakh in cash was also found in the hotel. Now Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has targeted the BJP and Prime Minister Modi over this issue.
While sharing a video on social media site X, Rahul Gandhi said that Modi ji, from whose treasury did he get these 5 crores? Who stole public money from you and fed you at a rate? Vinod Tawde is seen in the video shared by Rahul. There are some people around him who are seen creating ruckus with cash in their hands. There are police there too.
Modi ji, from whose SAFE has this 5 crores come? Who sent you to Tempo after looting public money?

Congress claims that Vinod Tawde had come with money in his bag
On the cash scandal in Maharashtra, the Congress has said that BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawde was carrying money in a bag and was calling people there and distributing it. When the public found out about this, there was quite an uproar. There are many videos of Vinod Tawde with money coming out. Just before voting in Maharashtra, BJP leaders are trying to influence the elections with the help of money. The party demanded that the Election Commission take cognizance and take action.
Kharge also attacked Modi.
National Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also attacked the BJP over the cash scandal. Kharge said that Modi ji wants to make Maharashtra safe with monetary and muscle power. On one hand, there is a fatal attack on the former Home Minister of the state, on the other hand, senior BJP leaders are caught red-handed with Rs 5 crore in cash. This is not the ideology of Maharashtra, the public will respond tomorrow by voting.
What did the BJP say about its opponents’ allegations?
On the other hand, BJP’s reaction to its opponents’ allegations also came to light: BJP said that Mahavikas Aghadi had tried to influence the atmosphere in Maharashtra by making other kinds of absurd and baseless allegations. BJP MP and national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said Vinod Tawde is the party’s national secretary and oversees many functions of the party.
He further said that the assembly candidate expected Vinod Tawde to attend the meeting held at that hotel. The hotel was nearby so he went there. Meanwhile, people from Bahujan Vikas Aghadi came there and started making absurd accusations. CCTV cameras in and around the hotel should be checked. Rivals are upset after learning of their defeat
