(Kaithal News) Kaithal. Today, a program was organized at Indira Gandhi (PG) Women’s College, Kaithal, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of late Smt. Chairman of the steering committee Ram Bahadur Khurania participated in the program as the chief guest.
The program remembered the contributions of Iron Lady Late Smt. Indira Gandhi and Veerangana Rani Lakshmi Bai to India through music, speech and poetry. Steering committee head Ram Bahadur Khurania said that the country’s first woman Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi and Rani Laxmibai, who fought like heroes, have also been a source of inspiration for our girl students. The university is named after him.
Influenced by their personality, college students always remain the best in academic and non-academic fields. College principal Dr Aarti Garg said if anyone’s name comes first to encourage women, it is that of Mrs Indira Gandhi and Rani Lakshmi Bai. On this occasion, the staff members included Seema Suneja, Aarti Singla, Monica Bhardwaj, Radhika Sharma, Hemlata, Alka Goyal, Monica Guglani, Priyanka Bindlish, etc.
