Maharashtra Assembly elections were held on November 20. Voting took place in all 288 seats in the assembly. The results will be known today i.e. November 23, after which it will be clear who will come to power in Maharashtra this time. This time the main contest in Maharashtra is between Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi. If we talk about Gadchiroli assembly seat, the main contest here is between Congress and BJP.

Gadchiroli assembly seat falls under Gadchiroli district. In the 2024 assembly elections, while the Congress ousted Manohar Tulsiram Poreti from the Gadchiroli assembly seat, Dr Milind Ramji Narote was in the fray on the BJP side. There is also a major competition between these two.

The Gadchiroli seat is considered the most important seat. BJP’s Devraj Mudgaji Holi is currently the MLA in this seat. Even in the 2014 elections, Devraj Mudgaji won on the BJP ticket.

How were the last elections in Gadchiroli?

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, MLA Dr Devrao Mudgaji Holi, who was on the BJP ticket from Gadchiroli seat, had opposed the elections. Congress’s Chanda Kodavate was in front of him.
