Bijnor: A shameful news has come from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. According to information provided by the police, a minor was caught and two youths arrested for gang-raping a 6-year-old girl in the bathroom of a market in Kotwali Dehat police station area in Bijnor on Friday. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ram Arj said the incident took place on Friday night in Kotwali Dehat area of the police station when a woman was grazing cattle with her 6-year-old daughter.
Gang rape of a girl in the absence of a woman
ASP said that when the woman was not there, Junaid, 20, Visal, 18, and a minor took the girl to the bathroom and allegedly gang-raped her and then fled. He said, ‘The police registered a case and arrested the two accused youths. The minor has also been arrested. ASP Ram Arj said that the minor accused was produced in the Juvenile Court, while the medical examination of the victim was being carried out. He said a case has been registered against the accused under the provisions of the BNS and POCSO Act.
Minor accused of rape in Bhadohi
In another case, Bhadohi police arrested a minor for allegedly raping a 23-year-old girl on the pretext of marriage. Police said Friday that the girl became pregnant and when she pressured the boy to marry her, he hit her and threatened to kill her. Unj police station in-charge Ramakant Yadav said that on October 30, following the girl’s complaint, a case was registered against the accused boy and the girl’s medical examination was carried out. He said the accused will be arrested on Friday and sent to the juvenile home in Mirzapur.
