According to police, Mohtaram’s son resides in Padli Khushhalpur village in Shabbir district. He is accused of appropriating other people’s lands through criminal conspiracy and fraud and of illegally amassing wealth.
According to information, under the leadership of Saharanpur City Police Superintendent, City Area Officer II and Tehsildar Sadar, a team from Sadar Bazar police station and administrative officials reached the spot and seized the gangster’s property. Mohtaram. Mohtaram had built a 130 square meter house, its price was estimated at Rs 40 lakh 55 thousand 387. The team attached the house. Along with this, a bicycle worth Rs 36,500 has also been attached.
According to the police, Mohtaram created properties with the money earned through crime. He seized people’s land by forging documents and land deeds. Action has been taken against Mohtaram under section 14(1), which is included in the Uttar Pradesh Prevention of Anti-Social Activities of Gangsters Act, 1986.

According to the police, on November 24, 2023, the then inspector-in-charge Janakpuri Sanuj Yadav had registered a case against Mohtaram under the Gangsters Act. After this he was arrested. Subsequently, district magistrate Manish Bansal ordered attachment of the property.
According to the police, Mohtaram cheated people and enriched himself by engaging in anti-social activities for illegal gains. Police said Mohtaram used a criminal network to manipulate land and property titles.
As per the orders of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Saharanpur police have taken strict action against criminals like Mohtaram as part of their drive. Area Magistrate Nagar II, SP City Abhimanyu Manglik and Naib Tehsildar Pankaj Nirwal played an active role in this action.
According to the police, Mohtaram became rich by betraying people. He was trying to create an atmosphere of fear in society through illegal actions. The seized assets include his house and bicycle.
