On the instructions of Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Rajesh Khullar, the district administration decided to organize the event as per spiritual tradition. The festival will be organized from December 9 to 11 at the Government Model Culture Higher Secondary School premises near Jhadu Singh Chowk.
The deputy commissioner said the responsibilities regarding Geeta Mahotsav will be assigned to various departments of the district.
Following the VC, Deputy Commissioner Munish Sharma on Monday said that the festival will be organized with the cooperation of all organizations and any organization or citizen can participate in it. To do this, any organization or citizen can provide information at the DIPRO office until December 5. The deputy commissioner said the responsibilities regarding Geeta Mahotsav will be assigned to various departments of the district. All departments must ensure that all preparations related to the organization of the festival are completed on time.
A seminar will be organized during the performance on December 10
The deputy commissioner said that the festival will start with Havan Yagya on December 9 and the exhibition will also start at the same time and continue till 5 pm on December 11. On the occasion of the inauguration, cultural programs will be organized on December 9 and it has also been decided to organize cultural programs in the evening during the three days of the event. On the closing day, December 11, Geeta’s recital will take place. At 12:00 p.m. and at 2:00 p.m. the procession will be taken out of the city starting at 11:00 a.m. The festival will then conclude with a cultural program and awards ceremony. A seminar will be organized during the function on December 10.
He said that in Geeta Mahotsav, religion-irreligiosity, respect for women, control of desires and desires, importance of work, control of anger, perspective of view, control of mind, self-evaluation, discipline, self-construction, obtaining results in each work will be discussed. There will be a mix of teachings like “nothing is wasted”, importance of practice, thinking with faith, working with perfection – finding happiness in work, reasons to move away from excessive attachment, etc., about which ragani, group. singing, Radha Krishna, etc. Through dance, Krishna Vandana, group dance, solo act, solo dance, slokacharan, bhajan, Geeta saar dance drama, short drama, Geeta dialogue, etc., light will be shed and guidance given by giving lessons to live life .
The deputy commissioner said that any religious, social and educational institution can participate in the Geeta Mahotsav and activities can be organized with dignity during the Mahotsav. To do this, it will be necessary for the organization and citizen in question to provide information to the DIPRO office located in room number 101 on the first floor of the old Mini Secretariat building before December 5.
