The News9 World Summit of the country’s number one news network, TV9, has begun in Germany. The country’s Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav expressed his views on ‘India and Germany: Roadmap for Sustainable Development’ at the summit. In his speech he said thanks to all the people of Germany and India. On behalf of India, I welcome the people of Germany. In the last five years the world has faced three major difficulties. There was conflict between Covid and different countries in the world.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, 2024 is the year when democratic countries have seen elections. Elections were also held in India 6 months ago. There are 968 million voters in India. This was the biggest election in the world. The world is rapidly moving towards the digital age. India is very technology conscious. The result of this is that the results of the Lok Sabha elections in India were announced in just 5 hours.

People have faith in the policies of the Modi government

Ashwini Vaishnav said that amidst this changing global digital environment, the most important thing is that the Bharatiya Janata Party has come to power for the third time. This shows the confidence of the people in the policies and plans of the Modi government. The people of India voted for stability. When Modi came to power ten years ago, India was the tenth largest economy in terms of GDP. At that time people had less trust in institutions. India is the largest economy in terms of GDP in a decade. By 2030, India will be the third largest economy in the world.
