Gold price today on November 8, 2024: A drop in gold prices is also seen on Friday. In the domestic market, gold futures were trading in the red in early trading. On Friday morning, gold for delivery on December 5, 2024 was trading down 0.05 per cent or Rs 40 at Rs 77,371 per 10 grams on the MCX exchange. At the same time, gold for delivery on February 5, 2025 was trading at Rs 78,058 per 10 grams. On the other hand, a drop in gold prices in the global market was also observed on Friday morning.
Silver prices also fell
Along with gold, silver prices are also falling. Domestic silver futures prices were trading in the red on Friday morning. On the MCX exchange, silver for delivery on December 5, 2024 was trading at Rs 92,110 per kg, down 0.22 percent or Rs 203.
Fall in global gold prices
On Friday there was a drop in global gold prices. According to Bloomberg, the global Comex gold price was trading at $2,703.30 per ounce, down 0.09 percent or $2.50. At the same time, spot gold was trading at $2,694.63 per ounce down 0.45 percent or $12.08.
Fall in global silver prices
Friday morning saw a drop in global silver prices. On Comex, silver was trading at $31.79 an ounce, down 0.20 percent or $0.06. At the same time, spot silver was trading at $31.69 per ounce down 1.06 percent or $0.34.
