Ujjwal Kumar from Sitamarhi district topped the Bihar BPSC combined exam. While topper Ujjwal Kumar said that he became B.Sc topper after studying in Hindi. Primary education began in the town. The tenth and twelfth studies were conducted in Sitamarhi. After studying engineering at NIT Uttarakhand, he stayed in Delhi and prepared for civil services. Topper Ujjwal Kumar is currently working as a block welfare officer in Goraul block of Vaishali district. He got the job four months ago and his first posting was in Vaishali.
Ujjwal Kumar, who headed BPSP, is a resident of Raipur village in Nainpur block of Sitamarhi district. Ujjwal Kumar’s father is a teacher. While the mother is an Anganwadi worker. Sister is a BPSC teacher. Ujjwal’s brother is about to graduate. Ujjwal Kumar has three brothers and sisters, of which Ujjwal Kumar is the eldest.
I used to study along with work.
Ujjwal Kumar worked in a rented house in Hajipur besides studying. Ujjwal Kumar said I had faith in myself, I knew I would pass but I didn’t believe I would get the first position. Ujjal said that now I will serve the entire society by becoming DSP. He said my endeavor will be to fill the gap that has developed between the society and the police.
When I was studying in tenth grade, some of our relatives said that this child is not going to study, that was their mentality. He said I was not weak in studies. After I left work, people started saying there was work, I left too. Still, our parents and siblings believed in us. The trust of our parents and family helped us a lot. He said our friends also helped a lot in our success.

One of our roommates couldn’t qualify for BPSC, but we supported each other completely. Today it is ranked 20. Ujjwal Kumar said that for students preparing for BPSC, success is coming if they work hard. If you have to fight, one day you will definitely succeed. All students must maintain confidence.
