It is believed that after puja, this cow dung should never be thrown into the garbage or any unholy place. When you finish your puja, leave the Govardhan mountain in the same place throughout the day and in the evening, collect it at one place and place white puja sticks on it, which are also used in Karva Chauth. Gather the cow dung during the puja and light a mustard oil lamp on it and keep that mountain safe in the yard of the house.

The environment can also be purified by burning it in the house. You can also use these tubers as fertilizer in your home garden by drying them well.

After the puja, the Govardhan mountain dung can be used as fertilizer by spreading it on the fields. This will increase crop production and increase soil fertility. You can put cow manure in pots and use it as fertilizer for plants. This will keep the plants healthy and green. Cow dung cakes can be made and dried in the sun in winter; heat can be obtained by burning them. You can donate cow manure to the local cowshed.
