Fed up with the absence of teachers in government schools, the Bihar government has taken a big decision. The education department held a review meeting with officials. It was then decided that the teachers would be present in the schools three times. Instructions have been given to soon implement this attendance system in public schools. According to the information, this new system could come into force from December 1. The department said this decision was taken to improve academic qualification.
The habit of missing teachers will end
It is expected that with its implementation the level of education in schools will improve. In addition, better education of children and regular attendance of teachers will be ensured. The objective of this new initiative is to improve the quality of education in schools. Currently, teacher attendance is checked twice in schools. The department said there are continuous complaints from different parts of the state about teachers missing from schools during school hours. In view of this, the department has decided to mark the attendance of teachers three times a day. This can curb teachers’ habit of skipping school.
DM or a higher officer can do the verification.
According to the information received, the third attendance of the partridges will be a surprise. The district DM or senior officials of the education department can check the attendance of teachers in any school during the day. During the surprise check, teachers’ attendance will be checked during school hours. During this period, strict action will be taken against missing teachers from the school.
