Gurugram News: Loans are being provided to BPL families through banks to set up self-employment.

The loan is provided by the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation.
Gurugram News (Aaj Samaj) Gurugram: BPL Scheduled Caste families living below the poverty line are provided loans through banks to establish their own employment. This loan is provided by the Government of Haryana on behalf of Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation. DC Ajay Kumar on Monday said that the benefit of this scheme will be available to those eligible families whose annual family income does not exceed Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand (as per family identity card) in rural and urban areas, they will get Rs 1 lakh. 50,000 loans are offered through banks up to one thousand rupees for animal husbandry, grocery shops, money making shops, beauty parlours, e-rickshaws, pig farms or any other profitable project etc. DC said 50 per cent of the total cost (subsidy up to a maximum of Rs 10,000 and 10 per cent margin money at an annual interest rate of 4 per cent) is provided by the corporation and the remaining loan is provided by the banks.

Interested applicants can fill out the loan application form on the corporation’s website and submit it to the concerned district office. District Manager Chandra Prakash said interested applicants at the district level can fill their applications at District Office SCO 62-63, Sanjay Colony Sector-12A.
