Haryana Assembly proceedings begin
Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: Debates on the last day of the winter session of the Haryana Assembly have begun. The proceedings began at 2 p.m. Replying to Congress MP Aftab Ahmed’s question, Chief Minister Naib Saini asserted that there is no shortage of fertilizers in the state. The opposition is giving importance to this issue. He said DAP fertilizer has been made available to farmers in the state as per their demand. Earlier in the assembly session, INLD MLA Aditya Devi Lal presented his views on the motion calling attention to the lack of DAP. To this, Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana responded that there is no shortage of fertilizers in the state. He said 7 FIRs related to black marketing of DAP were registered and a total of 185 raids were carried out so far.
Arjun Chautala moved a motion to draw attention to the rise in dengue cases.
INLD MLA Arjun Chautala also moved a call-out motion in the Assembly on the rise in dengue cases. He said that more than 5,000 new cases of dengue have been reported in Haryana so far. What is the government doing in this matter? Cases are increasing in all districts of the state. Apart from this, some important bills will also be introduced in the Assembly today. The most important bill will be the Indian Civil Defense Code (Haryana Amendment) Bill, 2024.
