150 buses with air conditioning and 500 without air conditioning will be purchased
Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: The Haryana government will purchase 650 new buses for the convenience of passengers. These will include 150 air-conditioned buses and 500 non-air-conditioned buses. Giving information in this regard, Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij said that keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, the government will include 650 more new buses in the transport fleet. Whose permit will be sent to the next High Power Purchase Committee for approval. The Minister of Transportation said that the new buses will comply with environmental standards, in order to prevent environmental pollution.
These buses will have standard BS-6 engines. He said that immediately after taking charge as Transport Minister, he directed all officials to improve all bus stops in the state so that passengers were not inconvenienced. The government is taking special care to ensure that passengers get all basic facilities and have proper seating arrangements. He said the government is rejuvenating bus stops for the convenience of passengers. Its positive results will be seen in the future.
