Cow Seva Commission budget increased to Rs 400 crore
(Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: In Haryana, the government will offer an incentive of Rs 30,000 to anyone who raises a cow at home. The government has also increased the budget for cow service from Rs 40 million to Rs 400 million. Chief Minister Naib Saini said the BJP government is trying to inculcate culture and values by promoting Mother Cow, propagating Geeta and spirituality among the youth. He said that India is recognized all over the world for its civilization and culture.
In India, the cow is worshiped as a mother. Mother Cow is worshiped in every corner of the country. Therefore, the government is continuously working to protect cows. The cows are taken care of through Go Seva Aayog. The government is also offering incentives for opening cow sheds in the state. He said that today there are more than 500 cow shelters in the state, for which the government has also provided fodder. Work has been done on a large scale to gain international recognition.
