The membership campaign will last three days.
Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: The three-day campaign to join the Bharatiya Janata Party, which formed the government by registering victory for the third time in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, will begin from today. As for the membership drive, all MLAs, MPs and officials have been set with a target of adding new members. The BJP’s goal is to become the largest party in the country by getting more and more people to join. Chief Minister Nayab Saini will launch the membership drive from today.
CM Saini will be the first to join. This campaign will run until November 8, 9 and 10. Many leaders including State President Mohanlal Badauli, National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, Campaign Coordinator Vedpal Advocate, Organization Minister and State General Secretary will be present at the special program to be held at the Chief Minister’s residence. Regarding the membership drive, BJP state president Pandit Mohanlal said there is enthusiasm among people to become members of the BJP. He said such a campaign will strengthen the grassroots level of the BJP. He said that there are 20,629 posts in Haryana and the workers are committed to meeting the target of getting 250 members in each post.
Target given to MLAs and MPs
Mohan Lal Badoli said that the BJP has set a target of attracting as many people as possible in this campaign. All party officials have been assigned responsibilities. All MLAs and MPs have been given targets to add members. The target has been set to get 30,000 members for MPs and 20,000 members for MLAs. Party leaders hope that the party will manage to achieve 50 lakh members in the state.
