With this decision by the government, it will be easier for the state’s players to get jobs through sports quotas. As part of its decision, the government plans to restore 3% reservation in all Group C departmental jobs. So that state actors do not face any problem in getting jobs in the government. At the moment, the recruitment of players is only planned for positions in 7 departments of group C. Previously, the government had abolished the reservation of sports quotas for positions in groups A, B and C. The players have opposed this government decision from the beginning. This decision of the government had increased the feeling of disappointment among the players.
Now that it understands the discontent of the players, the government has planned to restore a 3% reservation in all departmental posts in Group C. What is being worked on. A notification in this regard may be issued soon. Chief Minister Nayab Saini himself takes this important demand of the players seriously. CM has entrusted the responsibility for this to Chief Principal Secretary Rajesh Khullar.
As soon as CM’s instructions were received, Chief Principal Secretary Rajesh Khullar started working on this plan. Khullar has held a meeting with officials from the Sports Department and HSSC to resolve this matter. The meeting discussed how the reserve of players in all positions in all divisions of Group C was abolished. How the Group C positions were later restored, but limited to seven departments. Information was also taken on how many positions have been filled under this policy so far. This point was also discussed that the sports reserve should be restored in all Group C positions of all departments.
Players can also relax the age limit.
The government can also relax the age limit of players. Players can get age relaxation for departments where the age limit is less than 42 years. The players had requested chief principal secretary Rajesh Khullar to grant three-year relaxation to players in departments where the application age is below 42 years. This was also discussed at the meeting.
