2.84 lakh Sikhs got their names registered in the voter list.
Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: All preparations related to the holding of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee general elections are underway. Forty wards have been created for the committee and around two lakh eighty four thousand Sikhs have registered their names in the voter list for the said elections. The application for inclusion of the name in the voter list (till the election calendar is published by this office) may be submitted to the concerned returning officer of the district concerned and thereafter until the completion of the elections, the application may be submitted to the corresponding deputy.
