State president Udaybhan formed a committee to find the reasons for the defeat.
Committee command handed over to former CM Hooda’s Samadhi
Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: Even before the Haryana Assembly elections and after the crushing electoral defeat, factionalism in the Congress does not end. Perhaps due to this factionalism, Congress has been out of power in the state for the last 10 years. This time, despite the surge in the state, the Congress had to face defeat. The main reason for this is the mutual relationships between the leaders. That means factionalism. But despite all this, Congress is not able to digest the defeat. Committees are being formed to find out the reasons for the defeat. It’s been a month since the elections. But Congress has not yet been able to find the reasons for the defeat. Committees were formed just to find the reasons for the defeat. Firstly, the Congress high command formed a committee of central leaders to find out the reasons for Congress’ defeat in Haryana. That committee spoke with state congressional leaders.
But the final report could not be prepared. Perhaps because of the defeat this committee could not search. Not only this, former CM Bhupendra Hooda and state president Udaybhan did not even appear before the Congress high command. Rahul Gandhi himself has considered the leaders’ mutual selfishness as the reason for the Congress’ defeat. But the state Congress leaders are not ready to accept this. That is why committee after committee is being formed. Now state president Udaybhan has constituted a committee to find out the reasons behind Congress’ defeat in Haryana.
The command of the committee has been handed over to Karan Dalal, an aide to the former CM. Apart from this, Congress legal cell president KC Bhatia, Aftab Ahmed, Virendra Rathod, Vijay Pratap Singh, Virendra Bulleh Shah, Manisha Sangwan and Jaiveer Valmiki have been included in the committee. Now this committee will look for the reasons for the defeat. What comes out of this committee’s report? This is a great question in itself.
Selja group leaders were not included in the committee
The committee formed by state president Udaybhan to find out the reasons behind Congress’ defeat in Haryana. No leader of the Selja faction was included. No member from Sirsa and Ambala has been included in the committee. Only members of the Hooda group have been given a place in this committee.
The high command investigation committee has investigated
Due to the pro-Congress wave in the Haryana Assembly elections, the party suffered a crushing defeat. The Congress High Command has had this investigated by the 2-member Inquiry Committee. Former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and Rajasthan Congress MLA Harish Chaudhary were included in the committee. Both leaders sat down and talked one-on-one with each leader via a zoom meeting. No candidate was allowed to record it. He spoke to 53 of the 90 leaders who lost elections in the state. The committee asked 4 types of questions to the candidates who lost the elections. After which the committee has prepared its written report. In which the reason for the lack of coordination and factionalism during the elections was revealed more than once.
