There should be basic facilities available for women in Mahila Chaupals. Additionally, public representatives like women sarpanch, panch and block committee members of the local gram panchayat should also be included in Mahila Chaupals. As far as possible, efforts should be made to build these Chaupals near Anganwadi centres. Shruti Chaudhary was presiding over a meeting convened by senior officials of the Women and Child Development Department here yesterday afternoon.
He instructed the officials that the work and activities of District Project Officers, Women and Child Development Project Officers working in the field should be monitored at the headquarters level and it should be ensured that bi-weekly reports are sent to them. of the actions taken. He emphasized on conducting training programs on government schemes, especially on the schemes, policies and activities of the department. So that development work can get more impetus in the state. He said the work of filling vacant positions in the department should also be completed as soon as possible.
Negligence or indiscipline will not be tolerated.
In the meeting, the department officials informed the Minister that the Chief Minister made 63 announcements related to the department, of which 56 have been completed. Work is being done on the rest. The Minister warned the officials that they will not tolerate negligence and indiscipline in the work of the officials of the department, if any official is negligent, the strictest action will be taken against him.
