Applications for this will be invited soon. The special thing is that not only BPL but also other middle class families will be eligible for this plan.
For this purpose, a letter has been sent by the Central Government to all municipal corporations in the state. Giving information about this plan, Gurugram Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg said that some criteria have been laid down for the Prime Minister Awas Yojana Part-2 of the central government. Under this, families from the economically weaker section and low-income group (MIG), who do not own any permanent house anywhere in the country, will be eligible to buy or construct a house under PM Awas Yojana – Urban 2.0. The benefit of this plan will be available only if there is no house anywhere in the country.
The application must be made online.
He said that for this plan it will only be necessary to apply online. Soon, applications will be invited by launching the portal. The Municipal Corporation Commissioner said that as per the Central Government guidelines, it is mandatory that the Aadhaar card of the applicant’s family members be linked to the mobile. If not linked, no OTP will be sent and the request will be invalid. Ashok Kumar Garg said that after submitting the application, the Municipal Corporation team will go to the ground and verify. If the information provided at the time of application is found incorrect during verification, the application will be cancelled.
