Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: Making the announcement, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that to provide relief to farmers instead of mobilizing more resources for Kharif crops, an amount of Rs 300 crore will be released in the accounts of farmers through DBT as a Bonus by the state government. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 550 crore will be released soon. Even before this, the government released an amount of Rs 496.89 crore on August 16, 2024.
It may be noted that the state government has given a bonus of Rs 2,000 per acre to reduce the financial burden on farmers due to lower rainfall. He said that on the foundation that we have laid for the development of Haryana in the last 10 years, we will now build a great edifice of Haryana developed on that foundation. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our twin-engine government is ready to move at three times the speed. Haryana will definitely have a great contribution and identity in developed India. Referring to the opposition, he said that some people had formed the government even before the public decision, the ministries were also divided, they were under illusion. But the public settled accounts. He said our government will fulfill the promise of providing 2 lakh jobs.
BJP created 31 women police stations
Targeting the opposition, the Chief Minister said that the Congress did not open a single women police station during its tenure, while we created 31 women police stations. Furthermore, 19 new public universities for women were built during the Congress government, while the current government opened 32 universities for women. He said that during the Congress government, 451 km long national highways were constructed at a cost of Rs 1,713 crore, while our government constructed 1,719 km long national highways at an expenditure of Rs 28,582 crore.
There is no lack of DAP in the state
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said in the Assembly that there is no shortage of DAP. Opposition leaders are spreading rumors about the DAP’s failure to promote their political interests. The truth is that this year the state government has provided more DAP to farmers than last year and whatever other demands any farmer has will definitely be fulfilled on time. Naib Singh Saini said that till November 13 last year, 1 lakh 62 thousand metric tonnes of DAP were consumed in the state. This year, till November 13, 1 lakh 77 thousand metric tonnes have been consumed. This means that the government has provided 15,000 more tonnes of DAP to farmers. Not only this, until November 15, 14,750 metric tons of DAP will be received in the districts.
