Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: Due to rising pollution, schools have been closed up to class five in four districts of Haryana. Schools have been closed up to class five in many districts, including Gurugram, Rohtak, Sonipat and Jhajjar. Until further orders, children up to fifth grade will not be called to school in these districts. Children will be taught at home through online mode. It should be noted that for a month and a half the pollution situation has continued to be serious in the state. Now, along with pollution, smog has also made life difficult for people. The situation in Delhi-NCR has reached a very dangerous level.
In view of this, the State Education Department has given freedom to the deputy commissioners of all districts to take a decision on the license after assessing the pollution situation. After these 4 districts, schools may be closed in 10 more cities. These include Faridabad, Nuh, Rewari, Panipat, Palwal, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh, Jind and Karnal. NCR includes 14 districts of Haryana. The Meteorological Department says the weather in Haryana is likely to remain generally dry until November 21. There is a possibility of a change in weather due to the partial effect of another western disturbance starting the night of November 22. Even on Sunday morning there was fog in Haryana. So visibility remained at 30 meters. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for dense fog in Sonipat, Panipat, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Jind.
Instructions given to seize prohibited vehicles
