Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: After the death of freedom fighters or their wives, the Haryana Government will also provide the benefit of State Honor Pension to their unemployed widows/divorced daughters (provided they have no other sources of income). In this, the government has modified the earlier guidelines issued on June 12, 2009 and after the death of freedom fighters or their wives, their unemployed, unmarried, widowed or divorced daughters (provided they have no other sources of income ) to obtain state benefits. honorary pension and disabled, single and unemployed children whose disability is 75 percent will also receive the benefit of the pension.
If more than one eligible child is entitled to pension, they will receive a proportional share of it. The General Administration Department of Haryana Chief Secretary’s Office has issued a circular to this effect to all Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil Sub-Divisional Officers).
