Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: The meteorological department has issued an alert due to dense fog. Dense fog will occur in Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Panipat from tomorrow. This situation will continue for the next two days. According to information provided by the Meteorological Service, the effect of a new western disturbance that activates starting today will be seen in daytime and nighttime temperatures. There will be a drop in temperature due to the activation of western disturbances in the mountains starting at night, due to light snowfall and rain in the mountains, the cold will also increase in the plains.

The department has issued dense fog warning in 4 districts of the state, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Panipat. There will be dense fog here for 2 days. Apart from this, wind conditions are also expected to change from tonight due to the influence of western disturbances. It should be noted that starting in October, a slight cold is usually felt. The month of November is one of those in which the cold is in all its splendor, but this time it was not like that. Even after the month of October and early November had passed, the cold was not felt. Now that the month of November is in its final days, the temperature is continually dropping.

The air in 8 districts remains poor

According to the data released by the department, the lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded in Hisar at 8 degrees. On the other hand, due to pollution, the state’s climate is continually deteriorating. UI above 400 was recorded in 8 districts of the state, Sonipat, Fatehabad, Jind, Gurugram, Faridabad. Bad conditions also prevail in Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, Bhiwani and Dharuhera due to pollution. The air quality index in Charkhi Dadri reached 500.
